NOTE: The Ottawa Book Fair is an industry event open to EORBA members (independent bookstores and publisher representatives). It is not open to the public.

The February 2025 Ottawa Book Fair takes place at the Ottawa Embassy Hotel and Suites from February 9-12, 2025. Registration will open soon.

Accommodations

Book your accommodations at the Ottawa Embassy Hotel and Suites. Reservations must be made by the deadling to secure the negotiated rate. The negotiated rate for EORBA members is $199/night. The deadline and link to access this rate will be available soon.

Parking

Paid parking is available at the Ottawa Embassy Hotel and Suites for those staying at the hotel. Street parking is also available on the streets surrounding the hotel, and additional paid parking is available at Ottawa City Hall.

Sunday, October 27

7:30am – Hospitality suite opens

The hospitality suite, stocked with drinks and snacks, will be open daily, starting at 7:30am on Sunday

7:30am – Coffee and breakfast available

Coffee and breakfast items are available in the hospitality suite starting at 7:30am.

6:00pm – Sunday social

Join booksellers and reps in the hospitality suite for a casual dinner, great conversation, and fun games. Your RSVP during registration is appreciated to reduce food waste.

Monday, October 28

7:30am – Coffee and breakfast available

Coffee and breakfast items are available in the hospitality suite starting at 7:30am.

12:00pm – Lunch is available

Lunch is available in the hospitality suite starting at 12:00pm. RSVP during registration is appreciated to reduce food waste.

4:00pm – Publisher open house (NEW!)

Visit publisher reps that you may not have an appointment with to discuss any issues, concerns, challenges, or opportunities that you have with their publishers. Stay tuned for a list of participating publisher reps who will be available in their suites to chat during the open house. Appointments are not required for these drop–in chats.

5:00pm – EORBA meeting

Meet with booksellers and publisher reps in the hospitality suite to discuss the business of the book fair and the Eastern Ontario Regional Booksellers Association. This meeting will follow an agenda, so please submit any items you wish to discuss to info@eorba.org.

5:30pm – Author dinner

Join booksellers, publisher reps, and authors for EORBA’s famous author dinner in the Ottawa Room at the Ottawa Embassy Hotel and Suites! Hear from great authors while enjoying dinner and conversation with colleagues. Stay tuned to hear about the authors joining us this time. RSVP is required during registration.

Tuesday, October 29

7:30am – Coffee and breakfast available
