NOTE: The Ottawa Book Fair is an industry event open to EORBA members (independent bookstores and publisher representatives). It is not open to the public, self-published authors, or non-book wholesalers.

The February 2026 Ottawa Book Fair takes place at the Ottawa Embassy Hotel and Suites from February 8-11, 2026.

Accommodations

Book your accommodations at the Ottawa Embassy Hotel and Suites. Reservations must be made by the deadline to secure the negotiated rate on January 8, 2026. The negotiated rate for EORBA members is $209/night. Book your room online. Booksellers can use the Bookseller Grant to offset hotel costs.


Parking

Paid parking is available at the Ottawa Embassy Hotel and Suites for those staying at the hotel. Street parking is also available on the streets surrounding the hotel, and additional paid parking is available at Ottawa City Hall. Booksellers can use the Bookseller Grant to offset parking costs.


Registration fee


  • Bookseller: Free
  • Publisher rep: $300
  • Non-selling rep: $100 (this registration includes access to the hospitality suite and all EORBA events for reps who are not booking sales appointments during the fair)

Sunday, February 8

7:30am – Hospitality suite opens

The hospitality suite, stocked with drinks and snacks, will be open daily, starting at 7:30am on Sunday

7:30am – Coffee and breakfast available

Coffee and breakfast items are available in the hospitality suite starting at 7:30am.

2:00pm – National Gallery visit (TBC)

Join booksellers and reps for an afternoon visit to the National Gallery. Register your interest during registration.

6:00pm – Sunday social

Join booksellers and reps in the hospitality suite for a casual dinner and conversation! Your RSVP during registration is appreciated to reduce food waste.

Monday, February 9

7:30am – Coffee and breakfast available

Coffee and breakfast items are available in the hospitality suite starting at 7:30am.

12:00pm – Lunch is available

Lunch is available in the hospitality suite starting at 12:00pm. RSVP during registration is appreciated to reduce food waste.

5:00pm – EORBA meeting

Meet with booksellers and publisher reps in the hospitality suite to discuss the business of the book fair and the Eastern Ontario Regional Booksellers Association. This meeting will follow an agenda, so please submit any items you wish to discuss to info@eorba.org. The meeting agenda will be distributed by email.

6:00pm – Author dinner

Join booksellers, publisher reps, and special guest authors for EORBA’s famous author dinner at the Ottawa Embassy Hotel and Suites! Special guest authors will be announced once confirmed. RSVP is required during registration.

Tuesday, February 10

7:30am – Coffee and breakfast available

Coffee and breakfast items are available in the hospitality suite starting at 7:30am.

12:00pm – Lunch is available

Lunch is available in the hospitality suite starting at 12:00pm. RSVP during registration is appreciated to reduce food waste.

12:00pm – Professional development session (TBC)

Join fellow booksellers and reps for a lunch and learn. Topic to be determined. Suggest topics that interest you during registration.

6:45pm – Escape room social

Join booksellers and reps to test your escape room skills! RSVP during registration to receive more information about this event.

Wednesday, February 11

7:30am – Coffee and breakfast available

Coffee and breakfast items are available in the hospitality suite starting at 7:30am.

12:00pm – Hospitality suite closes

Please ensure all belongings are collected from the hospitality suite prior to 12:00pm.
