EORBA Bookseller Grant

The EORBA Bookseller Grant makes the Ottawa Book Fair more affordable for booksellers from within and outside of Ottawa, allowing them to experience more of the Fair, including the Author Dinner and EORBA meeting.

Booksellers within Ottawa

What’s covered: parking for each day that you attend the fair (up to $20/day).

Who is eligible: booksellers representing an independent bookstore located 40km or less from the Ottawa Embassy Hotel and Suites. (limit of one vehicle per bookstore)

How to apply: indicate which days you attended the Ottawa Book Fair on the grant application distributed by email following the end of the Fair.

Booksellers outside of Ottawa

What’s covered: parking and accommodation (one room per eligible bookstore) at the Ottawa Embassy Hotel and Suites for the Monday night of the Ottawa Book Fair.

Who is eligible: booksellers representing an independent bookstore located more than 40km from the Ottawa Embassy Hotel and Suites.

How to apply: register for the Ottawa Book Fair and check the box regarding the Bookseller Grant. The deadline to apply is January 6.
